Pine Class had an intrepid start to the week as they explored The Living Rainforest. No, it wasn't in the Amazon, but much closer to home in Hampstead Norreys, West Berkshire!

It was a very exciting day for Maple Class last Friday (5th December), when they met and fed the two Capybaras they had adopted at Beale Wildlife Park as their prize from coming third in the Park's Halloween Scarecrow Competition.

Just before we broke up for the half term holiday, Pine class took a trip to Butterfly World & Farm Park which is in Wroughton in Wiltshire.

As part of their learning about Ancient Egypt, Maple class visited Ufton Court in Reading, where they experienced life as part of the Royal Egyptian Household.

Seven pupils from Beech and Maple classes had a marvellous time at the Autumn Harvest Celebration Day, on Wednesday 1st October at Newbury Showground, which was organised by the Newbury and District Agricultural Society.

It was a glorious, autumnal day on Tuesday 23rd September when Ash class paid a visit to Shalbourne Community Growers.

Before we broke up for the summer holidays, Maple class took an extra special trip to Bournemouth for the day.

Thursday 3rd July was the perfect summer’s day for Willow Class to be in and around The Wilderness in Kintbury, West Berkshire as part of Action for Rivers Kennet’s (ARK) River School.

Cedar class had great fun when they recently visited the English Heritage site, Donnington Castle.

Ash class have just made their Big Trip of the term to We The Curious in Bristol.

Willow class have made the most of the glorious sunshine by heading out for a trip to the woods.

Before we broke up for the holidays Maple Class enjoyed a special Easter treat by visiting Finkley Down Farm.

We made a pre-visit to Finkley Down Farm this week before Maple class visit for the day.

Willow class recently spent the day at the Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop, Hampshire.

On Thursday 6th March Maple class took an amazing trip to Winchester Science Centre.

Cedar class recently enjoyed a lovely winter walk in the countryside.

Elm and Ash classes recently took a combined trip to STEAM - The Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon.

On Wednesday 8th January Maple Class began the New Year with a visit to Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Cedar class have been exploring the woods and looking at the natural world around them.

On Wednesday 23rd October Elm class went on a visit to Avebury Henge, which is recognised as a World Heritage Site.
