Elm and Willow Classes visited the Oxford University Museum of Natural History on Thursday 5th March. First, they participated in a session led by Sarah, a museum staff member, on evolution and adaptation. They looked at fossils and specimens of animals and creatures, as well as having the opportunity to stroke a stuffed barn owl handle living cockroaches!
Afterwards, everyone had the opportunity to walk around the museum and see dinosaur fossils, a stuffed black bear, a crocodile and even a dodo!
Finally, they recharged their batteries with some lunch and headed home. Both classes represented the school brilliantly and staff were so impressed and proud of them. Well done everyone on a fantastic day out!
