Speech & Language Therapist

Salary: Depending on experience

Start: As soon as possible

Contract type:  Full time

Contract term:  Permanent

Oaklands School is an independent SEN School caring for children and young people aged 5-16 years.  Students that attend our school typically have a primary need of autism, with associated Speech and Language therapy needs. This is a very exciting role for a Speech and Language Therapist who can demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing SEN children and their needs.

KS1 Teacher with SEN experience

Salary: depending on experience

Hours of work: 40 per week (times to be confirmed by the school and subject to change)

Closing date: 17.05.2024

Interview dates:  To be agreed

We are looking for a professional who can demonstrate knowledge of the EYFS/KS1 curriculum, who can plan, teach and assess effectively.  The candidate should have a good working knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans.  

Teachers (NQTs and QTS)

Salary: depending on experience
Hours of work: 40 per week (times to be confirmed by the school and subject to change)

We are looking for professionals who can demonstrate knowledge of the curriculum and who can plan, teach and assess effectively. It would be an advantage to have a knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans and SEND experience. l

Teaching Assistants (both TA and HLTA)

Salary: £19,778 (pro rata)
Hours of work: 35 per week (term time)

As a Teaching Assistant at Oaklands School, you will be supporting pupils with Special Education Needs, to engage in a creative timetable of education.  We are looking for enthusiastic, approachable, flexible and experienced Teaching Assistants, who are open to learning.

Occupational Therapist

Salary: Depending on experience

Start: As soon as possible

Contract type:  Full time

Contract term:  Permanent

Closing date: 17.05.2024

Interview dates:  To be agreed

Working alongside a team comprising of; teachers, instructors, learning support assistants and other therapists,  you'll support the school’s goal of providing a high quality education for students who may have complex and additional educational needs.  Work may be carried out in the classroom or may regularly take place outside the main teaching area.
