Beech Class

Beech Class opened its doors in September 2025, and we are absolutely delighted to have joined the Oakland Forest school community. From the very beginning, we’ve been made to feel incredibly welcome, and we’re already feeling right at home.
Our fantastic Beech Class team is made up of Rhoda, Rosie, and Praj. We are truly grateful for the support of all the adults who help make our learning journey such a positive and enriching experience.
Each week, we venture outdoors to explore our surroundings and learn through hands-on experiences. These regular outdoor sessions allow us to connect with nature, spark curiosity, and develop practical skills in real-world settings.
This year, our goal is to build on our knowledge across all areas of learning. In the mornings, we focus on core subjects, while the afternoons give us opportunities to get creative, cook, build, and discover more about how things work and the world around us. We're excited to develop a deeper understanding of our environment and grow as curious, capable learners.
This Autumn term, we will be looking at The Hodgeheg for English and Fing as our classroom text.
