Horse riding is an integral part of our curriculum at Oaklands School. Chestnut class have just started having lessons.

We were really pleased to welcome retired racehorse, Marv, and National Hunt jockey, James Bowen, to school during National Racehorse Week.

The popular CBBC TV programme, Newsround, recently came to school to film a report.

We recently welcomed Sarah Woodland and her delightful mini-Shetland ponies to our school for a visit.

At the end of April a group of our students enjoyed their first horse riding lesson.
