On Wednesday 15th July Maple class brought their learning to life when they enjoyed a fantastic trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens.

Elm and Willow classes travelled to Bristol Zoo Project last Friday (19th June) where they explored the Bear Wood and the African Forest!

Last Friday (12th June) Hazel class took a trip to Smelly Wellies Farm in Woodcote. Their Class Teacher, Charlotte, fills us in on their amazing day out. Pine class took a trip to We The Curious in Bristol at the end of Summer Term 1. We The Curious is an award-winning science museum with 200+ playful exhibits and the UK’s only public 3D Planetarium. The perfect place for curious minds, big and small!

Just before the end of Summer Term 1 Ash class went to London for the day on their BIGGEST BIG TRIP to date!

Pine class are really enjoying their topic Ready, Set, Go! This week they were lucky enough to go on a trip by train.

After half term Elm and Willow classes will be learning all about the rainforest, so in preparation for this they took a trip to The Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys last Friday.

Maple class are currently learning all about the Romans, so as part of their studies they visited the Roman villa and mosaic which is situated just along the road from school at Littlecote Park.

Elm and Willow Classes visited the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, on Thursday 5th March, where they learned about evolution and adaptation.

On Wednesday 11th February Cedar, Chestnut and Hazel Classes all got on a big coach to go to see a performance of The Gruffalo’s Child at The Hexagon in Reading.

Before we broke up for the half term holidays, Beech and Maple Classes rounded off their pottery topic with a visit to the Perfectly Potty Pottery in Winchester.

Pine Class had an intrepid start to the week as they explored The Living Rainforest. No, it wasn't in the Amazon, but much closer to home in Hampstead Norreys, West Berkshire!

Just before we broke up for the half term holiday, Pine class took a trip to Butterfly World & Farm Park which is in Wroughton in Wiltshire.

Seven pupils from Beech and Maple classes had a marvellous time at the Autumn Harvest Celebration Day, on Wednesday 1st October at Newbury Showground, which was organised by the Newbury and District Agricultural Society.

On Monday 14th July Ash class made their first visit to Shalbourne Community Growers.

On Friday 4th July, Pine class went on a trip to Sprouts Play Barn, which is located within Millets Farm Centre near Abingdon in Oxfordshire.

Thursday 3rd July was the perfect summer’s day for Willow Class to be in and around The Wilderness in Kintbury, West Berkshire as part of Action for Rivers Kennet’s (ARK) River School.

Hazel class had an exciting time exploring the ball pits, trampolines, painting, swings, roundabouts, go-karts, water stations, and slides at Swings and Smiles in Thatcham.

Cedar class had great fun when they recently visited the English Heritage site, Donnington Castle.

Ash class have just made their Big Trip of the term to We The Curious in Bristol.
