Just before we broke up for the half term holiday, Pine class took a trip to Butterfly World & Farm Park which is in Wroughton in Wiltshire.
The class started their visit by walking through an aviary, which was full of a myriad of different breeds of birds, before entering the tropical butterfly house with its lush vegetation and fish pools, with a variety of free-flying butterflies all around.
Pine then went onto the zoo area where they found the cheeky meerkats, the Prevost squirrels and Annie and Elsie the cute racoons.
Finally, our pupils met the geese, goats (which they had the opportunity to feed), chickens, cows, donkeys, alpacas, pigs, sheep, rabbits, otters and peacocks.
What a full and fun day!
*Papillons is the French word for butterflies
