Last Friday (16th October) Beech class took a trip back in time to the early 19th-century when steam engineering was in its heyday.

Today (Tuesday 13th October) Hazel class had a fantastic time at Swings & Smiles, a warm and inclusive space offering play sessions, respite care for families, sibling support and family‑focused activities.

Two of our classes, Bay Tree and Fir Tree, got their first taste of playing tennis last Friday, 2nd October, with the help of local Tennis Coach, James.

Beech class had a wonderful time at the Autumn Harvest Celebration Day, on Thursday 1st October at Newbury Showground, which was organised by the Newbury and District Agricultural Society (NADAS).

On Wednesday 15th July Maple class brought their learning to life when they enjoyed a fantastic trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens.

Six intrepid pupils from Beech class took a trip to the River Kennet at The Wilderness, Kintbury for ARK (Action for the River Kennet) River School last week.

Beech class finally got to visit Winchester Science Centre last week, after their original trip was cancelled due to the extreme heat a couple of weeks ago.

Elm and Willow classes travelled to Bristol Zoo Project last Friday (19th June) where they explored the Bear Wood and the African Forest!

Last Friday (12th June) Hazel class took a trip to Smelly Wellies Farm in Woodcote. Their Class Teacher, Charlotte, fills us in on their amazing day out. Just before the end of Summer Term 1 Ash class went to London for the day on their BIGGEST BIG TRIP to date!

At the end of Summer Term 1, Maple Class enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to The Roman Baths in Bath.

Hazel Class have been exploring our local countryside. Their Class Teacher, Charlotte, told us all about their trip.

Pine class are really enjoying their topic Ready, Set, Go! This week they were lucky enough to go on a trip by train.

After half term Elm and Willow classes will be learning all about the rainforest, so in preparation for this they took a trip to The Living Rainforest in Hampstead Norreys last Friday.

Maple class are currently learning all about the Romans, so as part of their studies they visited the Roman villa and mosaic which is situated just along the road from school at Littlecote Park.

Just before we broke up for the Easter holiday, Maple class visited The Look Out Discovery Centre in Crowthorne.

Before we broke up for the half term holidays, Beech and Maple Classes rounded off their pottery topic with a visit to the Perfectly Potty Pottery in Winchester.

On Thursday 5th February Ash Class went to Rosie’s Chocolate Factory near Wargrave.

This term the pupils in Beech and Maple classes have been learning about pottery through the ages.

Cedar Class went for a wonderful sunny walk in Hermitage on Wednesday 14th January.
