Hazel Class Enjoy Swings & Smiles at Inclusive Local Play Space
Today (Tuesday 13th October) Hazel class had a fantastic time at Swings & Smiles, a warm and inclusive space offering play sessions, respite care for families, sibling support and family‑focused activities.
Based in Thatcham, West Berkshire, Swings & Smiles was set up as a charity in 2007 by Sian Cook, whose daughter Amy gave her the inspiration to provide children with special needs and disabilities a place that they would be able to go with their families and play.
Hazel had great fun exploring the facilities, both inside and out, including the sensory room, the activity room, the fully accessible swings, the in-ground trampoline and the wheelchair accessible roundabout.
As you can see they had an amazing time!
