Hazel Class have been exploring our local countryside. Their Class Teacher, Charlotte, told us all about their trip.
Hazel Class had a lovely afternoon at the woods. We loved travelling there in the minibus and sat beautifully, enjoying the scenery passing by the windows. When we arrived, it was a little rainy, but we walked with our adults to the hut and used the bench for shelter.
Once the rain had passed, we had fun looking for foliage and leaves to help create our abstract art on our canvases. We used paint sticks in colours that represented the woods, browns and greens, and then used PVA glue to stick on items we had collected from the forest floor.
We also had lots of fun balancing on the wooden beams and made it back to the bus fairly dry! We can’t wait to go back again soon!
