Matt Pearce, Director of Public Health for Reading Borough Council and West Berkshire Council has written to all parents and carers with an important health update.

Ash Class have raised almost £90 in aid of Newbury Soup Kitchen, with over £65 of that total being raised by one student alone.

On Tuesday Hazel class had an amazing life skills lesson out in our local community. The sun was shining, listening ears were switched on, and everyone walked beautifully along the canal to feed the ducks.

Our pupils regularly help out at Shalbourne Community Growers. They really enjoying getting stuck in to the many chores that need doing, such as planting, weeding and watering.

This week Kye from Elm Class took part in his second work experience session with Jim the Bike Guy in Hungerford.

Work experience is a great way for our pupils to explore different career paths, learn outside the classroom, increase their communication skills and build self-confidence.
