Kye Gets on Board with New Bike Skills

This week Kye from Elm Class took part in his second work experience session with Jim the Bike Guy in Hungerford.

This time he was working on a Boardman Air 9.0 Carbon Road Bike. Boardman Bikes is a British bicycle manufacturer, founded by the professional cyclist Chris Boardman in 2007.

A time trial and prologue specialist, Chris Boardman won the inaugural men's World time trial championship in 1994, won the individual pursuit gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics, broke the world hour record three times, and won three prologue stages (and consequently wore the yellow jersey on three occasions) at the Tour de France.

Kye is relishing the challenge of learning new skills, broadening his knowledge and improving his confidence.
