On Thursday 5th February we went to Rosie’s Chocolate Factory near Wargrave.
When we arrived, we were fitted with an apron and hair bonnet. Then we went into the baking room and made 3 chocolate bars each. We had the options of white, milk and dark chocolate and we also got to choose out of 60 toppings, some examples; aero, pretzels, marshmallows and chocolate buttons.
When we put them in the fridge, we made 1 lollipop each with a ladybug pattern on the back, we were allowed to choose toppings as well. We then had a small lesson about chocolate and found out that 1 cocoa pod holds approximately 12 beans, and that there are 60 beans per chocolate bar.
After we finished, we went to a garden centre for lunch as we had reserved a table earlier that day.
The pupils said:
“very yummy” “cool” “I liked it because it was good”
“10/10 because I learned a lot, overall a great experience and one I recommend”
