Just before the end of Summer Term 1 Ash class went to London for the day on their BIGGEST BIG TRIP to date!
The class took the train to Paddington and then had a scenic walk through Hyde Park, meeting some local London wildlife along the way, to their first destination of the day - the Paradox Museum.
The Paradox Museum invites visitors to step into a world where nothing makes sense yet everything feels real! Combining science, art and psychology, this captivating educational experience amazed our pupils with its optical illusions, mind-bending exhibits and wacky photo opportunities, as you'll see from the photos below. The mirror maze was a particular highlight!
Next the class headed to the Natural History and Science Museums in South Kensington. An enjoyable afternoon was had at both institutions, where our pupils explored the many interactive displays, including The Natural History Museum's recreation of what it was like to experience the Tohoku earthquake that struck Japan on 11th March 2011 which was one of the biggest earthquakes recorded in the last 100 years.
Another stroll through Hyde Park took the class back to Paddington Station and some well earned dinner, before boarding the train homeward bound. Ash class didn't arrive back until around 8pm in the evening, making it their longest trip so far too!
The five pupils on the trip received a huge Shout Out from Class Teacher, Chris, for remaining in great shape throughout their extended day trip to London and for walking over 12,000 steps during the day!
