Pine Class get Festive at Local Pottery Painting Studio

Pine Class started to get ready for Christmas when they took a trip to the The Ugly Duckling Pottery Studio in Newbury.

The children travelled to and from Hungerford to Newbury by train, which they had never done as a class before. They all took it in turns to put their tickets in the machine when leaving Newbury station.

Then it was onto their destination, where the pupils and staff decorated a Christmas bauble each. There were so many beautiful colours to choose from!

By the time all the baubles were complete, everyone had worked up an appetite so the class went to a nearby cafe to have lunch.

On the way back to the station, the children stopped to say hello to Paddington (the sculpture which sits on a bench in the high street) and they saw the huge Christmas Tree which is in the town square.

Pine Class were quite tired when they got back to school after such an exciting day, but very happy!
