Oaklands Pupils' Project is Out of this World

Recently Cedar and Oak classes joined together to learn about the Solar System.

Our solar system has eight planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. There are five officially recognized dwarf planets in our solar system: Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.

Each student made their own model of one of the planets by paper macheing a balloon. Once dry the planet was painted. They look brilliant hanging from Cedar's classroom ceiling!
