Play day at Cobbs Hungerford

Earlier this week Hazel class went to the Play Barn at Cobbs in Hungerford. Hazel Class Lead, Charlotte, tells us all about their trip:

Well, what an exciting morning we had!

We hopped on the minibus bright and early, drove only 5 minutes down the A4, and before we knew it we were there. Luckily it was a short journey, as Hazel class were very eager to get stuck in, and wasted no time heading straight to the soft play, exploring it all.

There were slides, building blocks, climbing nets, giant bean bags, swinging biff bags, rolling biff bags, grass dens, wrecking balls, tunnels and much more!

Hazel class enjoyed every second, and played amazingly alongside each other. I was particularly proud of how well they took turns utilising the slide and climbing net, respecting each others’ space.

The 2 hours flew by, and we had both tired pupils and staff by the end. (It’s fair to say I’ve got my steps in that day)!

It was so wonderful watching Hazel class have so much fun, hearing their giggles and seeing their smiles. Hazel class were also superstars when leaving Cobbs, ensuring to hold their adults hands, and walk back to the minibus sensibly.

What a successful trip. Well done Hazel class, I am so proud of you all!

We'd like to thank all the team at Cobbs at Hungerford for an amazing visit and being such generous hosts.
