This week (22 – 30 November 2025) our theme has been National Tree Week.
As well as learning about the important part that trees play in our environment (because they produce oxygen, absorb carbon dioxide to combat climate change, and provide essential habitats for wildlife) we've been holding a Christmas Tree Decorating Competition.
All our pupils were given the opportunity to decorate a blank Christmas Tree as creatively as they could. The winners (selected by our Senior Leadership Team) will be going to choose the School’s Christmas Tree from Willis Farm Christmas Trees in Vernham Dean in Hampshire next week.
Pictures of all these beautiful Christmas Trees are now up in our Reception making it look really festive!
We’ll share photos of our trip to pick our School tree in next week’s Parents and Carer’s Newsletter. You’ll also be able to see them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
