On Wednesday 19th March Willow class spent the day at the Army Flying Museum in Middle Wallop, Hampshire.
The Museum tells the story of British Army Flying from the early days of military ballooning to the modern Army Air Corps. Over 40 aircraft can be seen in the Museum. These range from a First World War biplane to a HueyCobra attack helicopter, plus an example of every Allied glider used operationally during the Second World War.
The class were taken around the museum and shown the development of aircraft from a very basic flying machine to more modern warcraft. They really enjoyed all the interactive activities, including puzzles, lego building, dressing up and sitting in different aircraft. 🚁
