Pine Class go on an Pumpkin Hunt at the Play Barn
Updated: 6 days ago
Pine class enjoyed a fun-filled day, on Wednesday 14th October, at Cobbs Farm in Hungerford.
The sun shone on the class while they tested their balancing skills on the outdoor play equipment and it was even warm enough for them to sit outside to eat their packed lunches.
Unfortunately the pumpkin patch wasn't open when we visited (it opens on Saturday 17th October), so the Cobbs staff kindly gave us 14 pumpkins which two of the Oaklands team hid around the outdoor area for the class to search for. It was great fun trying to find them all!
The excitement didn't end there, as Pine class then had over an hour of active play, dressing up and role playing in the Play Barn!
They ended the day with a trip into the Farm Shop where the class chose a variety of unusual shaped and coloured pumpkins to take a closer look at back in the classroom. The biggest and the best was the 'White Ghost'!
Pine class had a brilliant time and would like to thank all the Cobbs staff for making their visit so fabulous!
